Go For Gold 2021 Takes Place November 15th & 16th

Go For Gold 2021!

Live stream Of All Performance & Auction With Online Bidding!

Extended Performance Videos

This years performance takes place yet again at the Barnadown Showgrounds in Gorey Co. Wexford and the auction takes place at the nearby Ambersprings Hotel.

This years sale takes place without the gala dinner option as a result of covid restrictions, but we hope to bring you the same experience and excitement as in previous years. For those who cannot attend you can follow the livestreamed performance and livestream of the auction with the addition of online bidding.

For the 2021 Go For Gold Sale we have tried to make it as easy as possible for those who are unable to attend the sale and so, we are offering an even broader view of all lots to give you a comprehensive perspective of all the lots on offer.

As always, our selection panel have been ultra diligent during the selection process to bring you the best quality young horses available, but in addition, we have kept in mind that potential purchasers need to see more detail and so we offered extended performance and images of all lots.

Veterinary certificates will be available to view in the image gallery prior to the sale and radiographs can be forwarded directly to your veterinary surgeon in advance of the sale also.

Hugh Suffern will also be in attendance at Barnadown for those who are travelling to sale this year.

Appointments can be made to view or trial any lot prior to sale.

Catalogue Now Online!

The success of this sale hinges on the quality and potential of horses chosen. Our promise last year was to ensure a catalogue of finely selected individuals with an international clientele to match. This was fulfilled with seven horses topping the twenty five thousand mark. There is enhanced interest from both vendors and buyers in this year’s Goresbridge Go for Gold sale. The high profile and integrity of the Goresbridge Sales team has been very well received and acknowledged as the premier source of event champions.

The cream of Irish three,  four, five & six year old eventers will be selected on Pedigree, Performance and Potential.

There will be a number of selection days nationwide where we will ask the horses to show their paces over a derby style track to include banks ditches and water. The chosen venues offer a perfect viewing ground as well as a nationwide catchment.
